Munchlings is a learning app for young children, developed by BMak. This policy explains how the app handles information. We built Munchlings to be safe and private by design, especially because it is intended for children.
We do not collect any personal information. Munchlings does not ask for names, email addresses, phone numbers, photos, location, contacts, or any other personal data from children or adults.
The app saves a small amount of gameplay progress — such as stars earned, stickers unlocked, and how many times each activity was played — together with your sound on/off setting. This information is stored only on your device using Android's local storage. It is never transmitted anywhere, never sent to us, and never shared with anyone.
Munchlings is directed to children and is designed to comply with children's privacy standards, including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Google Play's Families policy, the EU GDPR, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. We do not knowingly gather data from children, and there is nothing to request, review, or delete because nothing is collected.
Munchlings uses the minimum the app needs to work, all on the device:
Inside a parent-gated "For Grown-Ups" section, the app offers optional buttons to contact the developer by email or phone, and a "Buy me a coffee" option that can open your own UPI payment app. Tapping these opens a separate app on your device (your email app, phone dialer, or UPI/payment app). Those apps are operated by third parties and have their own privacy policies; Munchlings does not process or receive any payment or contact information itself. These options are placed behind a parent gate and are intended for adults.
Because all data stays on your device and nothing is transmitted, there is no server or account that could be breached. You can clear all saved progress at any time from the "Reset progress" button in the grown-ups area, and uninstalling the app permanently removes all of its stored data from your device.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and post the revised version at this same address. Because the app's privacy-by-design approach is core to it, we do not anticipate material changes.
